An easy way to lower your coolant temp. is to remove the pin from the thermostat and drill a 3/16 hole on the side were the brass pin is.

You can try www.kingmotorspots.com They sell the Mugen one. I got one and it has 68 deg. Celcius stamped on it. The stock one had 78 deg. C. That's 155 and 172 deg. Farenheit respectively.

Civic TSI - I got it for US$70.69. I got it in Hong Kong. That's pretty close to King Motorsports' $69 + shipping.

To SC SiR:
Hmmm, kind of pricey for a thermostat. That would be around $120 for me, way too much.

Civic TSI - I had no choice, that was the only thing they had on this side of the Pacific Ocean. In HK, people are so brand conscious, they only have HKS, Greddy, Spoon, Mugen, etc. They haven't heard of B&M, MSD, etc.
FYI, the Spoon low temp thermostat sells for the same as the Mugen in HK. It is supposed to open a bit earlier. They had no stock or I would've gotten it.
I figured since I live in the Philippines, where it is hot all year round, better be safe than sorry.
Now if only I read your post about drilling the 3/16" hole, then I'd be $70 richer.

Ok, pardon my ignorance, but what would an aftermarket thermostat do? esp. the Mugen one.
